There are three vacancies;

1.Administration & Social Media at Irish Deaf Society

Place of Work: Irish Deaf Society

Duties: The Administration & Social Media job description involves;
-General knowledge in IT & administration skills
-Have an interest in working with people
-Have the ability to use their own creativity and have a flexible approach to work
-Good communication skills and ideas in written and video format
-General knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Snapchat, video production
-General knowledge in office work
-Good ISL skills

Hours: 19.5 per week and flexibility are essential.

Training programme: Training programme will be provided such as Health & Safety (Safe Pass, safety of using equipment, understand of planting & right chemical for weeding, etc.) & Personal Development skills to support your career.

Who can apply?
A person is on Social Welfare benefit (DA, Job seeker etc.), is ability to work on your own or teamwork, willing to do the training programme.

Special initiative towards the Deaf Community as Sign Language is essential.

2. Maintenance (Deadline extend to 17th February)

Place of Work: Deaf Village Ireland

Duties: The Maintenance involves carry out necessary repair and maintenance work both indoor and outdoor, all general maintenance (litter control, sweeping footpaths, painting and DIY) and Health and safety procedures in the workplace.

Hours: 19.5 per week and flexibility are essential.

Training programme: Training programme will be provided such as Health & Safety (Safe Pass, Fire Safety, DIY skills etc.) & Personal Development skills to support your career.

Who can apply?
A person is on Social Welfare benefit (DA, Job seeker etc.), is ability to work on your own or teamwork, willing to do the training programme.

3. Gardening (Deadline extend to 17th February)

Place of Work: Deaf Village Ireland Campus

Duties: The Gardening job description involves general gardening services (weeding, trimming, cutting grass, etc.) in four Seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn), grass & grounds maintenance and other duties as required.

Hours: 19.5 per week and flexibility are essential.

Training programme: Training programme will be provided such as Health & Safety (Safe Pass, safety of using equipment, understand of planting & right chemical for weeding, etc.) & Personal Development skills to support your career.
