Place of Work: Assistant Administration

Duties: The Administration involves;
• Answers general questions from customers and committees
• To assist with entering data onto the library computer system
• Exhibition tour guide
• Updating the DHC website & Social Media
• Keeping the library tidy and shelving materials in correct order
• Other duties and tasks as directed by the DHC Manager
• An ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Willingness to work at weekend whenever DHC event takes place

Hours: 19.5 per week and flexibility are essential.

Training programme: Training programme will be provided such as Office Administration, Tour guide, Social Media, Health & Safety etc. & Personal Development skills to support your career.

Place of Work: Deaf Village Ireland & School

Duties: The Security job description involves;
• Patrol the Deaf Village Ireland and school areas
• Record all incidents in the security log book
• When possible prevent any incidents from happening
• Ability to work on your own or teamwork
• Report all incidents to your Line manager
• Must be flexible at evenings and weekends.
• Must wear your full uniform when in work

Hours: 19.5 per week and flexibility are essential.

Training programme: Training programme will be provided such as RPA Security Licence, Health & Safety (Safe Pass, Fire Safety, Occupational First Aid etc.) & Personal Development skills to support your quality of life

Duties: The Gardening job description involves general gardening services (weeding, trimming, cutting grass, etc.) in four Seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn), grass & grounds maintenance and other duties as required.


Duties: The Gardening job description involves;

  • General gardening services (weeding, trimming, cutting grass, etc)
  • Maintenance and general cleaning of the grounds and carpark area
  • Following safe working practices.
  • Ability to work on your own or teamwork

Hours: 19.5 per week and flexibility are essential.

Training programme: Training programme will be provided such as Health & Safety (Safe Pass, safety of using equipment, understand of planting & right chemical for weeding, etc.) & Personal Development skills to support your career.
