New Venture with Maynooth University
The DHC is pleased to announce the new venture of archive of heritage for Deaf curators/archivists in conjunction with Maynooth University. It will be first of its kind in Ireland, which makes a unique venture because it will be solely dedicated to Deaf people in Ireland. It is also intended to have this venture sustainable, which we will run another programmes for years to come.
It will significantly develop the Deaf community in terms of the community, culture, education, historical and language development. It will also benefit the public through the shared experience, knowledge and information.
