Equality for All.
The committee members of Greenbow arranged and organised a huge event in Deaf Village Ireland campaigning for the “Yes” vote in April. This event was a huge successful night where a show was put o , where gay and drag queens expressed themselves and telling their own personal stories. The show was done in a very professional manner, with loud music, coloured lights, a professional attractive stage with red carpets. Over 200/300 people attended this event and the atmosphere was electric with everyone really enjoying the event for “Equality for all” following this, “Greenbow” organised the “Yes Equality” bus to come to Deaf Village Ireland on Tuesday 19th May, where there was an electric atmosphere with balloons, banners and photo shoots. The ABC Australian TV crew came along as they were doing a documentary on Equality overall in Ireland. This was a great few hours for the Deaf community.
